I’m a Venezuelan-born chef, and my culinary journey has been shaped by a lifetime of global experiences and personal stories. I studied culinary arts in Venezuela and went on to work in kitchens all over the world, learning techniques and flavors that became part of my identity. For me, food is more than just nourishment, it’s storytelling. Every dish I create is tied to a memory, a person, or a place that has left a mark on me. Cooking is how I share those moments and connect with people on a deeper level.
My latest venture, O by Marcos Spaziani, located inside the O Hotel, is the most personal expression of that journey. The menu reflects who I am: a blend of Venezuelan roots and global perspective, including influences from my father, who is from Rome. My mother is from Caracas, and her warmth and spirit are at the heart of everything I do. Many know me from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3, but O is where my true story unfolds. It isn’t just a restaurant, it’s my story, told through flavors, textures, and hospitality. It’s a space where I invite guests to travel with me through the cultures, experiences, and emotions that have defined my life.
